B-WALK FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCES: Moving to Realize Direction, Steps, and Commitment

Bandung, April 25, 2025 – The Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences (FKS) at Telkom University successfully held the B-WALK activity (Moving to Realize Direction, Steps, & Commitment) on Friday morning as a symbol of unity and synergy among all academic members in creating a healthy, positive, and inclusive campus environment.

Participants took part in a morning walk following the route MANTERAWU – TUCH – TULT – MANTERAWU, which was then followed by breakfast and a casual discussion with the FKS Dean’s Office at the 1st Floor of Manterawu Building, Telkom University.

The event was attended by 65 academic members of the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences, consisting of the dean’s board, lecturers, study program staff, and educational personnel. This moment served as a warm and informal interaction space between the leadership and academic community in the spirit of collaboration.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Iis Kurnia Nurhayati, Dean of FKS, emphasized that the activity was not merely about togetherness, but also a form of commitment to grow together.

“We (the dean’s board) will be your growth partners through collaboration, but of course, we cannot achieve this goal without the support of all members of our academic community,” said Dr. Iis Kurnia Nurhayati.

The event was further enlivened with door prizes for participants who signed the attendance list, and a warm, communal breakfast session held at the 5th Floor Hall of the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences.

With the spirit of B-WALK, FKS continues to promote the creation of an academic environment that is healthy, supportive, and ready to embrace the future of communication and social science education that is adaptive and collaborative.
