OPTIMIZE BRAIN FUNCTION WITH NEUROFEEDBACK THERAPY

Bandung, 15 November 2024 — The Psychology Program at the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences, Telkom University, successfully held an International Public Lecture titled “Neurofeedback Therapy to Improve Brain Function” on 14 November 2024. This event attracted students and psychology enthusiasts eager to learn about innovative brain optimization techniques.

The lecture featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhamad Sophian, M.A., Ph.D., a prominent figure in neurofeedback therapy from i-CATS University College, Malaysia. Held in the Public Relations Lab at FKS and moderated by Dr. Maulana Rezi Ramadhana, M.Psi., Psychologist, the session offered deep insights into neurofeedback therapy. This method aims to enhance cognitive brain functions by training the brain to self-regulate, particularly beneficial for focus and mental health.

The objective of the lecture was not only to introduce neurofeedback therapy as a therapeutic approach but also to highlight its practical applications and encourage the use of technology within psychology.

With this lecture is expected to enhance understanding and stimulate interest in neurofeedback therapy’s potential, supporting the university’s goals in fostering academic curiosity and practical innovation.
