PUBLIC LECTURE ON “DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT: THE RISK & OPPORTUNITIES” AT TELKOM UNIVERSITY

Bandung, November 11, 2024 – The School of Communication and Social Sciences at Telkom University successfully hosted a public lecture on “Digital Media Management: The Risks & Opportunities” on Friday, November 8, 2024. Around 100 students from the Digital Content Broadcasting and Communication Studies programs attended the event, eager to expand their knowledge on managing digital media in the modern era.

The session featured Mr. Pieter Andrian, VP of HR at Emtek Group, as the keynote speaker. In his presentation, Pieter shared valuable insights into the challenges and risks facing the digital media industry, such as data security and misinformation, as well as the significant opportunities available, such as the potential for creating innovative, technology-aligned content.

Pieter also encouraged students to recognize the importance of risk management in the digital world and motivated them to explore the career opportunities within the field. “Understanding the risks and opportunities in digital media prepares students to enter the professional world more confidently,” Pieter remarked.
