School of Communication and Social Sciences at Telkom University Holds Seminar on Ethics and Optimization of AI in Scientific Publication
Bandung, September 9, 2025 – The School of Communication and Social Sciences (FKS) at Telkom University successfully held a seminar titled “Ethics & Optimization of Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Writing and Publication” at the Reference Room, Open Library, Telkom University, Bandung Campus.
The event featured Dr. Ervina CM Simatupang, M.Hum, an English lecturer from Widyatama University, as the keynote speaker. The session was moderated by Adi Bayu Mahadian, Ph.D, a lecturer and Head of the Center of Excellence DICTUM at Telkom University.
This seminar aimed to provide a deeper understanding of the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic settings. Participants were encouraged to explore the potential of AI in supporting scientific writing and publication while upholding academic integrity and ethical standards.
The event served as an important platform to address the challenges of the digital era, especially for academics seeking to responsibly and productively integrate AI technologies into their scholarly work.
