Telkom University’s School of Communication and Social Sciences Participates in the International Seminar & Leadership Forum: APA in Indonesia 2025

Surabaya, January 24, 2024 – The School of Communication and Social Sciences (FKS) of Telkom University (TelU), represented by Dr. Maulana Rezi Ramadhana as the Head of the Psychology Undergraduate Program, participated in the internationally renowned event, International Seminar & Leadership Forum: APA in Indonesia 2025. This event, organized by the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI) in collaboration with the American Psychological Association (APA), took place on Friday, January 24, 2024, at Bumi Surabaya City Resort, Surabaya.

This event featured experts and practitioners from various countries who shared insights and experiences in the development of psychology, as well as discussed the crucial role of psychology in addressing global challenges in the future. As part of the forum, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed to strengthen academic relations, research, and scientific collaboration between higher education institutions, including TelU’s School of Communication and Social Sciences.

The signing of the MoA marks a strategic step for the Psychology Program at FKS TelU in expanding its international networks and establishing closer collaborations with world-renowned institutions. Dr. Maulana Rezi Ramadhana stated that this event is a crucial moment for developing academic quality, research, and collaboration in the field of psychology globally.

The International Seminar & Leadership Forum: APA in Indonesia 2025 not only served as a scientific discussion platform but also as an opportunity to bring together parties who share the same vision and mission in advancing the field of psychology.

Through this forum, it is hoped that various research and academic collaborations will emerge, benefiting the development of psychology in Indonesia, particularly in terms of research and the application of psychology in social and organizational contexts. FKS TelU is committed to continuing to enhance its scientific capacity and strengthen international collaborations to achieve higher educational quality.
