Telkom University’s School of Communication and Social Sciences Hosts a Sharing Session on Strategies to Get Published in Scopus Journals
Bandung, 26 November 2024 – The Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences (FKS) at Telkom University successfully hosted a Sharing Session on “Effective Strategies for Publishing in Scopus Journals” in the Manterawu Meeting Room. This event was attended by 40 faculty members from various academic disciplines and aimed to provide insights and strategies for publishing scientific work in renowned international journals, particularly those indexed by Scopus.
The session featured Prof. Eri Kurniawan, a distinguished expert in communication from the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), who shared valuable tips on how to write and publish academic papers that meet the standards of international journals. Prof. Eri discussed strategies for crafting articles that are not only academically sound but also increase the chances of acceptance in prestigious journals like Scopus.
Moderated by Moch. Armien Syifaa Sutarjo, S.S., M.I.Kom., PSF, the session also saw active participation from the attendees, who eagerly asked questions and engaged in discussions about the challenges and opportunities of scientific publishing.
The event was initiated by the Humanities & Media Studies expertise group, aiming to strengthen research and academic publications in the fields of communication and humanities. With the support of various stakeholders, FKS hopes that this event will encourage more academics to contribute actively to global scientific research and publications.
The Sharing Session not only provided valuable knowledge on how to succeed in publishing in international journals but also fostered closer relationships among scholars, enhancing research collaborations in Indonesia.
This initiative is expected to inspire more academics to participate in global research, strengthening the role of Indonesian researchers in contributing to the development of knowledge in communication and humanities.
