
Handover of Educational Video & Receipt of Appreciation from the National Commission for Disabilities (KND) of the Republic of Indonesia.
BANDUNG, January 25, 2026 – The Schoolof Communication and Social Sciences (SCS) at Telkom University has once again demonstrated its commitment to social contribution. The DICTUM Team of FKS Telkom University officially handed over a public service educational video to the National Commission for Disabilities (KND) of the Republic of Indonesia during a handover ceremony on Friday (01/23).
The educational video, titled “Production of Educational Video for Updating Biodata Elements of Persons with Disabilities,” was designed as a strategic instrument to improve the accuracy of data collection for persons with disabilities across Indonesia. This step is considered crucial to ensuring that the rights of persons with disabilities are met through a valid and reliable database.
In recognition of their extraordinary dedication, the DICTUM Team consisting of highly competent academics: Adi Bayu Mahadian, Ph.D., Nisa Nurmauliddiana Abdullah, M.I.Kom., Fiqie Lavani Melano, M.I.Kom., and Adrio Kusmareza Adim, M.A. received the highest appreciation. The award was presented in the form of a Certificate of Appreciation signed directly by the Chairperson of KND RI, Dr. Dante Rigmalia.
This award ceremony was more than just a formality; it served as a recognition of the vital role universities play in providing solutions to national social issues. Dr. Dante Rigmalia expressed her gratitude for the DICTUM team’s initiative, which aligns perfectly with the national vision of an Inclusive Indonesia.
As a form of tangible implementation, the work produced by the DICTUM Team and Telkom University will not only serve as a state archive but will also be broadcast extensively in various public spaces throughout Indonesia. This initiative is expected to expand the reach of public education regarding the importance of updating data for persons with disabilities.
The School of Communication and Social Sciences expressed great pride in this achievement.
