
Optimizing Public Communication: SCS Digital PR Lecturer Provides Strategic Recommendations for Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen RI
TANGERANG SELATAN, January 25, 2026 – The School of Communication and Social Sciences (SCS) at Telkom University has strengthened the role of academics in supporting public information transparency through a strategic collaboration with a government agency. On January 21, 2026, an in-depth review of communication activities was conducted at the office of the Center for Data and Information Technology (Pusdatin) of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, located in Ciputat, South Tangerang.
Evaluation and Strategic PR Program Recommendations
The activity, titled “Review of Public Relations Activities for Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen RI,” aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the Public Relations programs implemented throughout 2025. In addition to the evaluation, the meeting focused on providing strategic recommendations to solidify Pusdatin’s public communication steps for 2026, ensuring they are more impactful and accurate.
The discussion involved two experts in their respective fields: Yudhistira Nugraha, ST., M.ICT Adv., D.Phil., as the Head of Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen RI, and Dr. Muhammad Sufyan Abdurrahman, S.Sos, MM, a permanent lecturer of the Digital PR study program at Telkom University.
Synergy Between Academics and Practitioners
During the discussion session, Mr. Yudhistira Nugraha emphasized the importance of an academic perspective with a practical background in strengthening institutional narratives.
“We discussed and reviewed a number of plans because we require input from academics with a journalistic background to enhance the exposure achievements of Pusdatin Kemendikdasmen RI this year,” stated Yudhistira Nugraha.
The involvement of Dr. Muhammad Sufyan in this agenda demonstrates SCS Telkom University’s commitment to providing relevant expertise to assist the government in managing data and information more professionally and innovatively.
