SCS Telkom University Explores Transnational Communication Dynamics with Expert from Chiang Mai University

BANDUNG, February 27, 2026 – The School of Communication and Social Sciences (SCS) at Telkom University has once again demonstrated its commitment to expanding international academic horizons by hosting a Guest Lecture. The event, held on Friday (27/02), addressed a crucial topic: “Research in Transnational Communication Studies.”

The lecture featured a prominent expert in the field of social sciences, Assoc. Prof. Amporn Jirratikorn, PhD, a Senior Lecturer from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Her presence provided fresh perspectives for faculty members and students regarding how communication research is conducted across national borders in the modern era.

The interactive discussion did not only cover theoretical frameworks but also provided practical insights into appropriate research methodologies for analyzing “borderless” communication phenomena.
